Balayage is an exceptionally soft yarn spun from baby alpaca & organic extrafine Merino wool.  The yarn was developed in collaboration with top knit designer Melanie Berg.  Many of Melanie’s most popular designs are gorgeous shawls that focus on beautiful textured stitch patterns, as well as color play.  The stitch definition of Balayage is ideal for knitting these shawls.  The stunning gradient color palette is also ideal for special accessories, sweaters & cardigans.
